ARENA GOLDEN VOICE
Regulation
“Arena Golden Voice” (hereinafter referred to as “the Competition”) is a competitive music event organized with the aim of discovering, enhancing, and promoting new talents in the Italian music scene and identifying the future teams of the “Golden Voice League.”
The Competition is based on a direct-elimination format with repechage playoffs, culminating in a team final to determine the winners and those who gain access to the Golden Voice League.
These regulations govern participation, the conduct of the Competition, and the awarding of prizes, and are binding on all participants. Registration implies full and unconditional acceptance of all provisions herein.
Registration is open exclusively to solo singers.
Candidates must be at least 14 years old at the time of registration. Artists who have contracts with record labels that do not authorize the creation and dissemination of videos and photos of the artist are not eligible. In the event of failure to disclose the existence of a record label opposed to such participation, full responsibility for any disputes shall rest entirely with the artist.
To register, candidates must complete the online form available on the official Competition website (www.golden-voice.it) and pay the first registration fee on the day of the elimination rounds.
The total registration fee is €80.00, divided as follows:
€20.00 to be paid at the time of registration for participation in the elimination rounds. This amount is non-refundable and, in case of elimination, no further fees will be required.
€20.00 to be paid no later than 7 days from notification of passing the elimination rounds, to access the quarterfinals. In case of elimination, no further fees will be required. Failure to pay results in automatic exclusion and replacement by one of the previously eliminated singers through repechage. Fees already paid are non-refundable.
€20.00 to be paid no later than 7 days from notification of passing the quarterfinals, to access the semifinals. In case of elimination, no further fees will be required. Failure to pay results in automatic exclusion and replacement by one of the previously eliminated singers through repechage. Fees already paid are non-refundable.

Note: Participants who, by passing the Playoffs, gain direct access to the final must pay the remaining €60.00 of the total registration fee to participate in the final.
The Competition consists of five phases:
Participants are paired in 1 vs 1 duels by random draw.
Each singer performs a song of their choice (original or cover), using an instrumental backing track or accompanying themselves with their own instrument in the case of singer-musicians.
A technical jury composed of three qualified members determines the winner of each duel by deciding, after both performances, who advances to the next phase. The winner advances to the quarterfinals. Those eliminated may participate in the Playoffs free of charge.
Participants are paired in 1 vs 1 duels according to the competition bracket.
Each singer performs a song of their choice (original or cover), with instrumental backing or self-accompaniment.

A technical jury composed of three qualified members determines the winner of each duel. The winner advances to the final. Those eliminated may participate in the Playoffs free of charge.
Twenty singers advance to the final and form two teams of ten members each. The 20 semifinal winners are the main members of the teams.
This phase is open to all contestants eliminated in the previous three phases.
In a single day (“speed contest”), each artist performs one song of their choice (original or cover), with a maximum duration of 5 minutes.
A technical jury composed of three qualified members assigns a score from 5 to 10 to each performance. The 10 winners of the Playoffs advance to the final, divided equally between the two teams as reserve members.
The 30 finalists (20 direct qualifiers and 10 repechage winners) form two teams of 15 members each.
Each team is assigned a captain selected by the organization from previous editions of the Golden Voice League. The captain organizes and guides the team and acts as the sole liaison between the team and the organization.
The 20 singers who qualified directly for the final are the main team members and the official performers in the final. The 10 singers selected through the Playoffs are reserve members and participate in stage performances, backing vocals, and harmonies. In the event of replacement of one or more main members, for any reason, the captain decides which reserve will perform.
The teams perform in the following categories:
Italian solo
Foreign solo
Italian duet
1960s–1970s duet
Dance solo
Rock solo
Foreign duet
Soundtrack (film song, solo or duet of choice)
Each team may include musicians, dancers, actors, and any type of artist deemed necessary for the performances, except singers. External artists participating in the final are not required to pay any registration fee but must complete the required release forms.
Teams must collaborate to create sets, choreography, and, where possible, use live musicians to support the singer. Each performance must be conceived as a mini-show, also considering the specific score assigned for stage performance.
Each artist may sing only once as a soloist across the various categories (solo or duet) but may participate in other performances as a backing vocalist or extra.
Scores are assigned by six judges, each with a specific focus:
2 Technical Judges: Evaluation of vocal technique (score from 5 to 10). These judges must be vocal coaches only.
2 Stage Judges: Evaluation of stage presence, choreography, and creativity of both the main performer and the team (score from 5 to 10). These judges may be experienced professional artists but not vocal coaches.
2 Emotional Judges: Evaluation of emotional impact and connection with the audience (score from 5 to 10). These judges must have no artistic training and vote solely based on perceived emotions.
Half-points are not allowed. In case of a tie, the captains select one singer to perform an additional song (the singer may have already performed in one of the categories); the winner is determined by the technical judges.
The team with the highest total score (sum of all scores) is declared the winner of Arena Golden Voice.
